Un monument historique au c\u0153ur de Guingamp<\/h2>\n

Fond\u00e9e vers 1134 par le comte \u00c9tienne de Penthi\u00e8vre, l\u2019abbaye Sainte-Croix de Guingamp est l\u2019un des plus anciens \u00e9tablissements religieux de Bretagne. D\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019origine aux chanoines r\u00e9guliers de saint Augustin, elle a profond\u00e9ment marqu\u00e9 l\u2019histoire locale.<\/p>\n

Architecture et vestiges remarquables<\/h2>\n

Malgr\u00e9 les vicissitudes du temps, l\u2019abbaye conserve aujourd\u2019hui des \u00e9l\u00e9ments d\u2019exception\u202f:<\/p>\n

Le chevet polygonal et les arcades du transept, t\u00e9moins de l\u2019architecture romane et gothique.
Le manoir abbatial du XVI\u1d49 si\u00e8cle, reconnaissable \u00e0 sa tourelle d\u2019escalier hexagonale.
Le portail d\u2019entr\u00e9e du XVIII\u1d49 si\u00e8cle, partiellement conserv\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Class\u00e9e monument historique depuis 1926, l\u2019abbaye Sainte-Croix s\u00e9duit par la richesse de ses vestiges et leur int\u00e9gration dans le tissu urbain de Guingamp.<\/p>\n
